T-minus 1796-1794

Dear Diary,

It's been way too long since I've written to you. These past weeks have been a plethora of busyness. Let's see...I started my job at the library...talked with both of the current librarians to find out why the shelves were so full that it was difficult to restock them with the both the returned books and the new donations.

The answers it turns out were very simple:
1. There were alot of duplicate and triplicate books.
2. There were books lying on their sides, behind the books in front.
3. Some shelves were taken up with GED classroom books.

So.....hmmmm.....what to do? Ooooh....ooooh...I know! Let's all play a little game I like to call: Guess What Happens Next!
Choose options 1, 2 or 3.

1. Did Kelly say f$!k these people, I'm not working this out. They need to fix there own dang books for .12 an hour!
2. Did Kelly say,"Well guys, maybe we should:
A. Get rid of (i.e. box up and send over to the FCI.....not throw away....because it is government property) the least popular duplicates.
B. Ask the GED teachers if they can keep their classroom texts in each of the 3 GED classrooms and also ask them if they want the extra Atlas', dictionaries' and High School: History of_________(fill in the blank with the historical person of your choice)
C. See how much more space we have to put out ALL of the books....keeping them in alphabetical order like they already were....thus saving us (the librarians) more headaches of trying to stick another book on an already stuffed shelf.
3. Did Kelly say, "Oh...ok.", shrug her shoulders with a clueless look on her face, continue reading her latest Danielle Steele romance novel while thinking, "F$!k these people, I'm not working this out even if it would make my job easier. They need to fix their own s%#t for .12 an hour!"

So? What do you think happened? 1? 2? 3?

Although my brain screamed....do 1 AND 3...do 1 AND 3!My heart won out and thinking,"Well, we ALL have to use the library...just because we're in prison....we don't have to BE....IN PRISON."

And this saying will stick with me and haunt me for the rest of my life.

To Be Continued...
