Happy Birthday to me....lol....I was a good/hard day...I've been having alot of those lately....lol. but I will talk about that at a later date.
Every weekend we have 2 movies shown on the main screen in the multi purpose room and on the middle tv in each of the dorms tv rooms. Last weekend, it was 2012 and some other movie that I can't remember and this past weekend: Alice in Wonderland and Invictus. I watched Alice on the small screen in the dorm but decided to catch Invictus on the big screen. A couple of my co-inmates and I brought our pepsi's and popcorn....one of them even put Sazon seasoning on her's (the popcorn I mean) ....can you say EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
As the movie began I thought," Ok...I suppose a little history is necessary for the people who don't know about apartied. I think if you were expecting some kind of action or a relatively quick moving plot of a big budget drama....you'd be disappointed but I thought it was well written. Apparently that was not the general consensus because about 45 minutes in maybe a third of the audience remained....wow.....to say,"Well, look where I am." would be look easy of a dismissal. There are Master's and PhD's here but I suppose not everyone is into this type of drama....oh well.
